Dr. Shetty deciphers the true meaning of Valentine’s Day… Love is an inner yearning, which cannot be decorated or described by words in any language. Love is the cosmic energy of life. Love is an elixir for day to day survival. Love knows neither boundaries nor any arithmetical numbers. Love can survive amidst war, strife, disaster and peace with equal ease. Our pressing desire to articulate this emotion on certain days only reveals the force of a massive unbundled energy. The special day such as Valentine’s (or any other) is the result of a natural evolution—a longing to express the cosmic energy. Hence such days are a consequence and not the starting point of the Gangotri of love. It is also a different way of saying ‘THANK YOU GOD, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING’. The recipient on Valentine’s Day is the unconscious microcosm, that gives love a tangible form, an identity, a meaning, a purpose. The expression—vocal, written or otherwise is just a vehicle, though the same is also effectively communicated by a silent presence. Love knows no marks, money, measurements or muscles but only understands the eternal principle of connectivity. The human form is just a vehicle and a symbol to reinforce the philosophy of oneness. The physiological stirrings and an obsession for a particular human form on Valentine’s Day are just a slice of the pizza, not the entire chunk. The disappointments of being spurned or ignored today are temporary as connectivity is irrevocable, and disconnection is unnatural. Thus with a clean heart just connect… Did you find this column useful? Write a review or send in your. Click here Other Articles By Dr. Harish Shetty …These Are The Seven Husbands Wives Hate!
