The night before keep your clothes and shoes and anything else you require ready.

Keep the hall ticket handy.

Carry extra pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, rulers and other permitted equipment, make sure they are handy and in  good working condition.

Before you set out, have a wholesome breakfast.

Lay your writing tools on your desk.

Draw margins on both sides of the answer paper.

Answer your best question first and do not waste time on questions that you are unsure of in the beginning.

Examiners are looking for answers that actually answer the questions so do not fill in irrelevant points in the answer just to lengthen it. Write shorter and simpler sentences and use smaller paragraphs.

Use diagrams or graphs wherever necessary to clarify your answers.

Number and arrange the supplements in the proper order. Staple the entire set of answer sheets within the margins and also tie the sheets properly so that they are not lost.

Before submitting your paper to the examiner make sure your seat number (in words and figures) and other required information is filled in correctly and is mentioned in all the supplements attached.
