Mr. Anoop from Bangalore sent us this amazing recipe for grape punch! Its cooling, refreshing and delicious
Ingredients: Black Grapes (The variety with seed) 1 Litre or 8 cups of Water 2 Cups of Sugar 1 Litre Vanilla Ice Cream 2 Ripe Bananas (the green variety) Method: Wash and separate the grapes Boil with 8 cups of water and 2 cups of sugar for around 20-25 mins. Sieve it using a large sized sieve to remove the skin and seeds. Take two cups of this liquid and beat well in the mixer along with the bananas and two to three table spoons of ice-cream. Pour this back into the liquid, stir and refrigerate. To Serve : Take a tall glass Pour the Grape Punch into the glass. Top up with a dollop of ice cream and decorate with grapes/ cherries. Garnish: Take a pear, peel and chop into tiny pieces. Sprinkle the freshly chopped pieces over the punch for a crunchy feel. ENJOY! |
