INCREASE YOUR INCOME
MAKING MONEY THROUGH BLOGGING!

Do you think blogging can earn you a decent living, decent enough to take it as a full time activity? The answer is it can, but there are some things you need to keep in mind as the success ratio is no better than 99-1. So, if you wish to be a part of that one percent, if you wish to work from home and most importantly write on something you love, go ahead and explore the options bravely.

Valuable content

It’s all about what you can give. If you really want to earn from your blog, you have to provide some value reading to your reader. After all, content is king. So, pick a niche for your blog where you have some significant expertise. Don’t pick a niche just because you think it will make you money. Think about what you love most, and then find a way to make your topic appealing to a massive global audience.

Be web savvy

You should have a decent functional understanding of a variety of web technologies. What technologies are "key" will depend on the nature of your blog and your means of monetization. Few options are

1. Blog publishing software
2. HTML/CSS
3. Blog comments (and comment spam)
4. RSS/syndication
5. Trackbacks
6. Search engine optimization (SEO)
7. Page rank
8. Social bookmarking
9. Tagging
10. Contextual advertising
11. Traffic statistics

Lack of understanding of these can be a major cause of failure in the realm of online income generation.
Streams of income

To generate income from your blog, you can explore many options, such as

1. Google Adsense Ads (pay per click and pay per impression advertising)
2. Donations (via PayPal or snail mail — yes, some people do mail a check)
3. Text Link Ads (sold for a fixed amount per month)
4. Affiliate programs like Amazon (commission on products sold, mostly books)
5. Advertising sold to individual advertisers (three-month campaigns or longer)

Traffic and its importance

Traffic is one thing that will decide how much you will earn from your blog. Though creating valuable content is the basic thing that will help you in developing the reader base, you also need to know how to market and popularize your blog. Participate in blog carnivals which let you send in your few articles and help build traffic, or leave the link to your blog at other appropriate blogs and social media. Caution! Do not spam other websites with your link.

Publishing details

Be specific about where you are going to host your blog. With publishers like wordpress and blogger, you can choose what works for you. Wordpress allows you to customize and create your own design rather than using a template design. Also you can decide the places at which you want to put ads. As your traffic grows you may need to upgrade to a dedicated server or a virtual private server (VPS).

BE A MYSTERY SHOPPER. GET PAID FOR SHOPPING!

We all require a little extra money. Money to pay off bills, build up on savings, or pay for upcoming expenses.

Here are a few ideas that may help you find a way to bring in extra money.

Re-sell items you don’t need. For example, CDs, tapes, furniture, or books. A resale shop might sell them for you. You could have a yard sale, or sell them at a swap meet or flea market. You could even sell them on the Internet on one of the auction sites.
You might be able to provide a service that other people would pay for. Baby-sitting, translator, tutor, braid hair, type, paint, or repair items. Even if you have a full-time job, you might be able to do enough of these things to make some extra money each week.
Look for a part time job. You could deliver papers, deliver phone books, or work in a store.
Be a salesperson for one of the companies that sell things through home parties, like candles and plastic products.
You might get paid for taking part in a research study at a hospital or a college. Some marketing companies pay people to share their thoughts about a certain product or service as part of a focus group.
If you work, check your last three years' income taxes to make sure you took all the deductions available to you. File an amended return if you find more deductions. Claim the Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Credit, and Health Insurance if you are eligible.
At your job, you can volunteer to work overtime, work toward a promotion, or ask for a raise. Use your job benefits. Examples of this are: turn in job expenses to get reimbursed, contribute to your retirement plan to get your money matched by your employer, or put money for child care or medical expenses into an account that is not taxed as part of your income.

There are many ways to make extra money. But be careful about jobs that sound too good to be true.

MLM FOR MORE LIVING MONEY

MLM in marketing language means -- Multi Level Marketing. And if used well, then yes, it would mean more living money. Here’s why.:

• MLM in simple terms means word of mouth marketing. Normally, when you like a product, you tell your friends and relatives and they may in turn buy them.

• While your word of mouth publicity does help the product manufacturer to boost up the sales, you who contributed to the increase in sales was not rewarded in the usual course. V

• In MLM, however, the persons who contribute to the sales of the product through the word of mouth publicity do get rewarded in a layer form of structure.

• For instance, A buys the product and tells B and C to buy them. B & C buy the product and tell two more friends each. They in turn get two more customers each and this chain goes on till atleast 7 times. Till this chain is stopped, A, B, C and others keep getting commissions on the sale of the products, thus generating income on the word of mouth publicity given by them!

So if you feel you have a knack at sales – or are very brand aware and usually advice friends on what to buy, then do make a go at MLM. This form of marketing is already making a silent revolution, contributing to millions of turnover to the manufacturers, saving expenses on high cost publicity and generating loyal customer base.
