Hmmm. What if you don’t have any goals? Well for starters, sit down and think of one as fast as you can. Why? If you find yourself at a place of having no goals whatsoever, you may end up in circumstances that provide no excitement or challenge. You begin to grow professionally and personally only when you set goals and strive to reach them. • Make sure to check on your progress when attaining your goal. A goal should be measurable, so you can see for sure that you are making progress. For instance if you want to buy a house this year, you need to be thinking in terms of scouting the area and looking for a suitable place. If you manage to do this in the first month of your period, you are obviously progressing. • Now that you have progressed to your goal, you are ready to act on it. Draw up a list of all practical things that need to be done to get you closer to that goal. • Never lose sight of what you want to achieve. This helps you stay focused on what your goal is and what you need to do to achieve it. Whatever your goal happens to be, the process of achieving it is essentially the same. Make your goal a priority in your life, only then will you be able to accomplish it. Pep Quote “If you go to work on your goals, your goals will go to work on you. If you go to work on your plan, your plan will go to work on you. Whatever good things we build end up building us.” --Jim Rohn |
