| Lost Gypsy Queen: |
Okay. So you're guilty of overtly loving the beads and wooden jewellery. A plethora of scarves and stoles, a myriad hues of colour and layer upon gathered layer of prints and embroidery get your pulse racing.
While I personally love the Bohemian look, there are just some times when it can be too fussy, when you'll want to ditch the frills and flounces and opt for something simpler. So before you find yourself trapped within this fashion felony, tone it down.
Combine a voluminous skirt with a solid coloured fitted top or tee. Wear one fabulous piece of jewellery and let the other pieces complement and not overpower the outfit. Alternatively let a handbag, belt or neckline play the starring role and keep the outfit simple.
Watch out for which way your style statement leans and you should do fine.

| Fumbling Bollywood Diva: |

So you eat, drink and sleep Bollywood. You try to emulate Bipasha's style or Aishwarya's every move. You hound the stores to pick up glam pencil heels, cleavage revealing tops and have your hair ironed or curled every weekend. |
The horrors of a bad back and damaged hair are slowly dawning on you, along with your friends' laments trashing your Bollywood dreams. Wake up and see the light! While a fascination with tinsel town can be fun, don't play imitation to the stars.
Go ahead and glam up your look with shimmery make-up and flowy dresses for a night on the town |

or an evening soiree with friends. For the day, dress up in feminine but sedate styles such as frilly tops and layered skirts. Down play a plunging neckline with a scarf or stole and stay on the right side of sexy. |

| Attempting Rocker Chic: |

So you believe you're the next Avril Lavigne. You shred your t-shirts and don a tie in solidarity with the edgy teen crooner. Next you colour your hair a few shades of blonde and are looking forward to getting that tattoo or guitar, whichever comes first. |
While it's great to have a style icon and along with it a style mantra, it's important to know where to draw the line when following fashion.
Rocker tees are a great way to wear the rocker look. Combine with a flashy studded belt, a few strokes of colourful hair mascara and make for the club.
Totally occasion specific, totally redeemable. |

| Fashion Felonies - Women Beware |
Skinny spandex pants worn on wide hips, gathers on a wide waist, low-waist jeans under a pronounced belly, and uncomfortable high heeled shoes.
All the makings of a fashion disaster. We've all been guilty at some time or the other of committing a heinous fashion crime. For the most part we make fashion faux pas unknowingly, but on occasion it is a desire to be a 'trendsetter' that sends us beyond acceptable style parameters. Let's look at three styles which although fun can leave you trapped in a time warp if overdone.
